HWF Scholarship Distribution Ceremony held at Kolkata : Supporting Education, Shaping Careers

Kolkata : On 2nd June 2026, the HWF UG/PG Scholarship Cheque Distribution Program was successfully organized at Abdul Fattah Auditorium, Kolkata. A total of 20 undergraduate and postgraduate students received scholarship cheques under the program.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Mr. Abdur Rafique (Treasurer, HWF), Mr. Sharique Ansar (Head of the Education Department, HWF), Dr. Masihur Rahaman (renowned journalist and writer), and Mr. M. Taherul Haque (renowned social worker).

In addition to the cheque distribution ceremony, CTAG West Bengal conducted a special Career Guidance and Counselling Session for the scholarship recipients. The session aimed to motivate and guide students towards various educational and career opportunities, helping them make informed decisions about their future.

The resource persons for the session were Mr. Mirajul Islam (PhD Scholar, Aliah University), Mr. Asif Akhtar (currently serving as Sub-Inspector, Kolkata Police; selected as a WBCS Officer and former student of the CTAG WBCS Coaching Program), and Mr. Faruk Ahmmad (Career Counselor, CTAG).

The program concluded successfully with active participation from the students, who greatly benefited from both the scholarship support and the career guidance session.
