One-Day School Management Training Workshop Successfully Conducted in Kolkata

A One-Day School Management Training Workshop on Leadership | Compliance | Quality Education was successfully organized on 14 February 2026 at Abdul Fattah Auditorium, Kolkata, by Human Welfare Foundation (HWF), New Delhi.

The programme began with Welcome Address by Md. Masud Alam, Coordinator, HWF West Bengal.

The first technical session on “Pedagogical Leadership and Academic Excellence” was delivered by Mr. Mechbehar Shaikh (Former Consultant, UNICEF, Shishu Shiksha Mission & Sarva Shiksha Mission, Govt. of WB). He spoke on effective pedagogical practices, NEP & NCF alignment, teacher capacity building, NoC process, supervision systems, modern teaching methods, and evaluation & remedial strategies.

The second session on “Strategy for Self-Sustained Institutional Model” was conducted by Mr. M. Sajid, Director, Vision 2026. He discussed vision setting, strategic planning, financial and HR management, school branding, operational strategy, and long-term action planning.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Faruk Ahmmad, Coordinator, CTAG West Bengal.

The workshop witnessed active participation from school leaders across West Bengal and reinforced a shared commitment toward institutional excellence and quality education. The programme was anchored by Mr. Akhtar Hossain, Coordinator, HWF, who conducted the sessions smoothly and maintained the flow of the event.

The first two days of the National Career Trainers Training Workshop at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, provided a strong blend of academic insight and practical skill-building for career trainers and counsellors.
